Journaling and Documenting

It's been said that the worst of inks is better than the best of memories. It's important to record the study we do. As we, as teachers record our own studies, these records become our teaching notes. Keeping those records organized creates our own personal "textbook" of the topic, if you will. This enables us to both re-teach in the future, and expand our own learning.

As our children Journal their studies, it not only helps it to "stick" in their own minds, but they too will be creating their own "textbook" of the topic. This will enable them also to review what they have learned, to expand it, and to teach it to others in the future.
